Mission
The Northern Indiana Plein Air provides resources to artists for the creation, education, and dissemination of artistic endeavors of painting in plein air of landscapes of Northern Indiana, and document Northern Indiana landscapes as they currently appear and to further outdoor painting. The methods used for education, promotion, and encouragement include thematic special projects, exhibitions, scheduled paint outs, workshops, and opportunity to display artwork for public exhibitions.
What We've Done in 2023
In 2023 we established our first organized sponsored schedule. We finished the year out with 4 main events with several smaller gatherings that were almost all well attended both by artists and by patrons. Our organization has the flexibility to add new events through out the year. If you are interested in creating an event we encourage you to contact northernindianapleinair@gmail.com
